From the farm you have superb views all round, Borrowdale Fell and Glaramara are both nearby. Thorneythwaite Farm is an ideal base if you are here to walk. You can start your walks to Scafell Pike (England's highest mountain), Great Gable, Esk Hawes and many more, all the fells are easily accessible and Jonny will give advice on the best routes for you to to take, being a champion fell runner he has a real knowledge of the local fells.
